Hydrating products from Corium Skincare

This post is about some of the products I have used from Corium Skincare, that have beneficial hydrating ingredients.

1. Gentle Aloe and Green Tea Facial Cleansing Bar

According to the Corium Skincare website; "Aloe vera is highly moisturising too. This bar also has Honey Propolis and Green Tea extract and is packed with antioxidants. Honey Propolis is antiseptic and may soothe rashes, burns and other skin irritations." The hydrating benefit comes from Aloe being a water dense plant, which helps in skincare products to minimise dehydration.

Great for: Dry/Sensitive skin types, & Dehydrated skin conditions. R90.00

📌NB "Our natural cleansing bars are natural, and are free of artificial colouring and parfum. All colour and odour is achieved using organic extracts. Our bars are pH balanced, and highly moisturising and are free of mineral oils or petroleum by-products." - Corium website

2. Luxe Pure Argan Oil

Argan is a popular skin oil, which is also used in body and hair products. Corium's website states that, "Argan Oil also has anti-ageing and restructuring properties, and assists with the prevention of stretch marks and scarring. It is an anti-inflammatory and sebum-regulating beauty oil." How does this help with dehydrated skin? Argan oil is loaded with vitamin E and essential fatty acids, which help to hydrate the skin and retain hydration.

Great for: All skin types especially combination oily skin. R180.00

3. Green Tea Clay Mask

Based on the website, this mask is a winner because of the following key ingredients, Panthenol( Vitamin B5), Argan oil, Aloe Vera and Vitamin E to name a few. Let's focus on Panthenol as hydrating ingredient. As a moisturising ingredient, it stabilises the skin's barrier function, reducing the amount of water lost through the skin. This, in turn, improves skin texture and elasticity.

Great for: Combination/Oily/Acne prone Dehydrated skin conditions. R120.00 50ml/ R200.00 100ml
