Aromatherapy has been around for centuries, and history says that it was first practiced and discovered by the Egyptians. They were renowned for their knowledge of ointments, aromatic oils and cosmetology which stretched into making herbal preparations. The use of essential oils is underrated, I was privileged to discover this practice when I was studying Somatology; which is the study of bring the body into balance. That is when I fell in love with Aromatherapy and got to experience its benefits. Somatology includes the massage practices, sleep therapy, skincare and aromatherapy.
"SOiL was born out of our family managed, organic essential oil farming operation in Zululand, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa.
It is here that we have been growing and distilling aromatic plants for their precious oils since 2001. As an eco-ethical range certified by ECO-Cert , SOiL was the first company in South Africa to sell a complete range of 100% certified organic essential oils, many of which we grow ourselves on our organic farm in Zululand. We also launched South Africa’s first line of certified organic massage oil blends and body care products, which we expand and grow year by year." Sourced from Soil Organic Aromatherapy website
I have been using Soil Organic Aromatherapy products for a couple of years now- the products sent to me to review I have been using for three weeks. I love the efficacy of their products, they do what they say they should. I started off with their organic Ugandan Shea Butter- it is AMAZING, particularly because I have dry skin on my body, this Ugandan Shea Butter deals with that; along with ashy ankles and elbows. They also sent me their Clary Sage Essential Oil also known as the "Woman Oil" and their Organic Relax Remedy Roller , these products were meant to act as a complimentary tool along with my mental health medication. I will be posting reviews on these products throughout the week, how I am using them and the benefits thus far. Stay tuned, and please keep sharing my posts. PK
